In the last year our coffee, like us, has made quite journey. Having originally used a coffee that was roasted in large batches we realised that our tastes have evolved and wanted something different, something that was crafted by somebody truly Artisan. The coffee in our shops is now supplied by Horsham Coffee Roaster who only roasts in small batches by hand and they source directly at origin. The result is that our shops receive their coffee beans 5 days after roasting so that by the time it is in your cup you are drinking only the freshest.
Now that we have the coffee we love our mission is to share that with you, our customers. When you drink a coffee from a FCB not only will you be able to order an amazing house roast, using our bespoke Trailblazer Blend, but also an ever-changing Single Origin Guest Roast supplied to us by some of the best, as well as up and coming, independent Artisan roasters the UK coffee scene has to offer.
So what about the future? Our aim is to continue to bring to you some of the best independently roasted coffee and hopefully impart a little bit of what we know about it along the way.

All the coffee we purchase has been ethically traded with full traceability back to the farm or co-operative. In many cases we have full transparency of the financial trail giving us the peace of mind that each farmer has been well paid for the outstanding coffee they produce.
Most of our coffees are roasted in the light to medium range. This allows the individual characteristics of the coffee to dominate leaving behind the more well known 'roasty' flavours that many people associate with coffee.
